Punk Faction – Stiggy Unstuck
by Marcus Blakeston
There’s only one thing worse than having some kid yapping in your ear while you’re trying to enjoy a good bag of glue in peace, and that’s having the coppers turn up while you’re off your head and unable to defend yourself. Punk Faction is a new series of short, interlinked stories set in and around a small Yorkshire town in the early 1980s.
Written by 1980′s fanzine writer and shouting poet Marcus Blakeston, they are populated by an assortment of punks, skinheads, yobs and hooligans. This is life how it really was for Thatchers lost generation. Not suitable for yuppies.

Sweet Song
by Terry Persun
A novel of racial conflict and self-discovery, this tale of a mixed race man passing as white in post-Civil War America speaks from the heart about where we’ve come from and who we are. An archetypal American story of self-discovery, set against the turmoil of post – Civil War America, Sweet Song tells the story of the mixed race son of a white landowner and a black house servant.
Leon, raised black but an outcast from both cultures, finds himself suddenly on his own – and passing for white. Wrestling with a divided heritage in a world where honesty, even with friends, might prove fatal, he falls in with dispossessed thieves, mill workers, saloon keepers, musicians, businessmen, thugs, freedom loving idealists and malevolent racists – a vivid panorama from America-s past. This tale of self-discovery will stay with the reader for a very long time.

by Rusty Fischer
The Vampires and Zombies at Barracuda Bay High School have a long-standing truce: don’t mess with us, we won’t mess with you. Of course, if the human kids at Barracuda Bay High knew they were sitting next to the Living Dead in homeroom, well all bets would be off.
