How Free eBooks Can Help To Build Your Blog / Website’s Traffic Posted: 24 Nov 2011 07:17 AM PST One of the most relevant and easy freebies across any niche is an eBook. This is a guest post by Freddy Flash of FreeFlashAnimation.blogspot.com Promoting your blog or website is all about bringing traffic to your site. There are more than 3 billion people on this planet who are mostly online at any time within the 24-hour period. That's your market. If you can just have a tenth of 1% of that visit your site, you could be a millionaire in a day. But bringing in visitors is not enough. You need to make your blog or site interesting enough for people to linger, interact, download, return and buy from it if it's an e-store. Otherwise, word of mouth will render promoting your site useless.
Downloadable FreebieIt rides on the internet's reputation as an information source… Few things attract potential visitors to a site more than the prospect of getting freebies. Not just any freebie, but practical useful freebies, one that is relevant to whatever it is you're talking in your blog or website. It may be a small application, a white paper, a browser toolbar, a video or music file. Just make sure you own the content or have the giveaway rights to it or you risk being penalized under the IP laws. One of the most relevant and easy freebies across any niche is an eBook. Here are the reasons why:
Just make sure it's hassle free to get it downloaded. That means having a host server with enough bandwidth to allow for unhampered multiple downloading. The last you want is to alienate your reader with painfully slow download speeds. Reaching the Widest AudienceBroaden your horizon… Getting the widest possible readership to your eBook guarantees the traffic to your site, provided, of course, that your eBook has the anchor texts that readers can click to go to your site. Here are some things you can do in this direction.

The Smelliest Cheese in the World Posted: 24 Nov 2011 05:20 AM PST The Smelliest Cheese in the World by Stephanie Dagg Mr Smelleigh’s great, great grandfather arrived from France with no money but a recipe for smelly cheese tucked in his sock. He built the famous cheese factory that Mr Smelleigh now runs. The cheese is so smelly that it makes cars break down and flowers wilt. But it’s so delicious that nobody minds. Mr Smelleigh is sure that his cheese is the smelliest thing in the world. He’s so sure that he tells people he’ll eat his pet skunk if he finds something that’s even smellier. So when Stanley comes along, wearing a pair of socks that he’s worn all week, including in bed, is Mr Smelleigh in for a shock? What else lies in store for him? Will he still be making Smelleigh’s smelly cheese after Stanley’s visit? Read the story, laugh, and find out! This is a children’s book for confident readers, say age 7-11, but most ages will enjoy it!

80AD – The Jewel of Asgard (Book 1) Posted: 24 Nov 2011 05:15 AM PST 80AD – The Jewel of Asgard (Book 1) by Aiki Flinthart What happens when you take a pair of ordinary, miserable 14 year olds out of their ordinary, miserable lives and throw them into another world and another time? Chaos, fear, magic and excitement – that’s what. When Phoenix and Jade somehow end up in the bodies of their own warrior Avatars in the online fantasy game, 80AD, they have to play the game through to get home. Do they have what it takes? Take a very ordinary, very unhappy 14 year old boy, Phoenix. He’s bored by school, hates his step-father, feels like he has no control over his life. In fact, the only things he does like are computer games and martial arts. Add a smart, miserable 14 year old girl, Jade. She’s the youngest of seven girls; teased and picked on; a misfit; her own mother doesn’t get her. All she likes is books and botany.
Throw both these kids into a computer game – 80AD – AND into their avatar’s bodies. Phoenix and Jade aren’t 14 year old kids any longer. They’re 17 year old warriors, confused and trapped in an ancient world of warfare, magic and death. They’re stuck in 80AD Britain To Phoenix, it’s fun – a gamer’s dream come true. To Jade, it’s a nightmare. In order to get home, they have to play out Level One of 80AD. They have to find the Jewel of Asgard. To do that, they must face murderous thieves, creatures of the Dywyllwch Brennau, uncanny powers of the Druids and the might of the invading Roman army. Can they master their new bodies and survive in Iron Age Britain? Can they beat the Romans to the Jewel and win Level One? Will they make it home or will they be defeated by their arch-enemy, Feng Zhudai? If he wins, they are stuck in 80AD forever – but is that so bad?
